Specialty Training, Inc. was founded in 2002 by Darin Rell. As an Exercise Specialist at St. Luke’s Rehabilitation institute and the prior Fitness Director for Deaconess Medical Center, the core of the company has been focused on conditioning the body with proper form and conditioning. Specialty Training has been established as a leader in Personal Training, Post-Rehabilitation, and sport specific training programs for both adults and youth.

We have multiple training options for Collegiate, High School and Middle School athletes. All of our programs heavily emphasize proper technique as well as a focus on core stability and strength. Our athletes are required to go through a process of instruction before ever performing dynamic or explosive movements. Most athletes have an exaggerated dominant side, and we always begin every program with an emphasis on symmetric training. All of our programs have a purpose! What this means is every athlete is unique and has different physical and sport-specific needs. Together, we put together a training strategy that best fits their physical goals while peaking during their respective sports season. To do this we implement a year round program that takes into consideration Pre-Season, In-Season, Post-Season and Off-Season programming.
With our Advanced Strategic Personal Training program you get one, 1:1 Personal training session each week in addition to unlimited access to our small group personal training sessions and Cardio, HIIT and Foundation Classes

With our gym membership you’ll have access to both of our Valley and Downtown locations. All members are supported by a professional training staff and will experience nothing but positive fitness comradery between staff and other members. We take care to never overcrowd the facilities with more members than can be comfortably accommodated to make sure your experience is a great one.
We have two different locations in Spokane that each offer unique facilities. Our Downtown location offers 5000 square feet of training space with plenty of cardio and strength equipment. Our Spokane Valley location has a completely unique setup with equipment that no other gym in the region has. Our classes offer a completely different twist on Strength and HIIT Training.
